WELCOME TO TOWER HAMLETS EDUCATION BOOSTER

Tower Hamlets Education Booster (THEB) is a trusted community organisation dedicated to helping young people and families unlock their full potential through education, mentoring, employability and enrichment opportunities.

Established in 2014, THEB was created to support local families by providing affordable educational support, positive role models and opportunities that help young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

What began as a community initiative to support local families has grown into a respected organisation serving thousands of young people across Tower Hamlets.

Today, THEB supports over 5,000 young people and families through education, mentoring, employability support, work experience opportunities, personal development programmes and highly successful holiday programmes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower young people, strengthen families and create opportunities through education, mentoring, employability and positive community engagement.

Through our programmes we aim to:

Improve educational outcomes
Build confidence and communication skills
Encourage leadership and personal development
Reduce anti-social behaviour through positive engagement
Promote teamwork, resilience and aspiration
Support young people into education, training and employment
Connect families with opportunities and support networks
Create pathways into careers, apprenticeships and further education

Our vision is to create a future where every young person hasaccess to the support, guidance and opportunities needed to succeed academically, professionally and personally.

What Makes Us Different

At THEB, we believe education is about much more than passing exams.

Alongside academic support, we provide mentoring, employability skills, leadership opportunities and enrichment activities that help young people develop the confidence and life skills needed for future success.

Our programmes are designed to help young people become well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of modern life.

We are proud that many former students have gone on to become teachers, mentors, volunteers and positive role models within their communities.
